Electrify Illawarra is dedicated to accelerating the transition to efficient all-electric homes, business, vehicles & community energy sharing across the Illawarra to reduce climate emissions and energy bills. We’re a non-partisan, not-for-profit group of Illawarra locals who love sharing our stories to encourage others to embrace efficient all-electric appliances and vehicles.

Main activities:

• Talks, interviews and media articles promoting the benefits of all-electric homes and vehicles supported by solar and batteries and what rebates and incentives are available to help make the switch.
• Host EV / Go Electric Open Days providing a relaxed, family friendly event where residents can learn more about all-electric homes, engage with trusted installers and chat to local EV or e-moped owners. The aim of these events is to give people more confidence to take the next step(s) on their electrification journey.
• Advocate for all new builds in the Illawarra to be all-electric and for more support to help households and businesses with the upfront costs of electrifying.
